Just flashed across the C-SPAN screen: Jon Tester has ousted incumbent Senator Conrad Burns (R-MT). CBS agrees. Unclear as of yet whether Burns will seek a recount (which, under state law, he’d have to pay for).
Tester’s victory means that the Senate will be, at worst, a 50-50 split (assuming that Joe Lieberman caucuses with Democrats, as he’s said he would). Jim Webb is reportedly ahead in Virginia, but the margin is small enough that George Allen will be entitled to call for a state-funded recount, if he wants one.

…but don’t you mean “Burn’ defeat,” or “Tester’s victory”?
smadin says
Because then I’ll make them myself. “Burns‘”.

The Republicans are losing control of both houses of congress. Rumsfeld is out. Deval wins in a landslide. Not too bad for a rainy Wednesday.
