A Christmas chuckle
One of my all-time favorite New Yorker covers: And speaking of Santa, I’ve always liked the Globe Santa charity, not least because the Globe itself covers all administrative expenses, so donations go directly to gifts for kids. There are, of course, oodles of worthy charities around, but that’s one I support every year. Merry Christmas!

Tax dollars and the Absentee Governor
It is officially Christmas eve and I would like to wish Good Will to all after I dump my resentment that the Governor of Massachusetts has wasted my tax dollars for his personal gain. It’s not new news, yet the article reveals further details of (his) absenteeism.
