The political playbook of the last 16 years is dead. Weld used the Reagan/Bush “I’m a dirty supplysider with the heart of an environmentalist (His twist for MA) and Romney used the celebrity playbook “I’m above it all, I saved the Olympic you know! Oh, and by the way your lucky to have me.”

So far Deval is using the Clinton “The man from Hope”. As President, Clinton used “Triangulation” to govern. I don’t see that book working in MA.
