Richardson on Gay Rights

So, stumbled on a video of Governor Richardson – a presidential candidate – speaking at an HRC event. I must say, I’m impressed. I’ve thought for a while that he had a good shot, but it’s the first time I’ve really considered thinking about supporting him (still waiting for Al Gore, but how cool would a Gore/Richardson ticket be?) Anyway, here’s the video – it’s well worth the watch.

Cambridge Mayor Launches Blog with Chronicle

There is hope for us all. After feuding for months about the Mayor’s travel expenses it appears that the Cambridge Chronicle and Cambridge Mayor Ken Reeves have decided they might be able to accomplish more together than apart. Reeves has launched a blog, the convincingly titled “Mayor Ken Reeves’ Blog,” on the Chronicle’s TownOnline site. The first story features a report, apparently from the Victorian era, about an afternoon tea held by the Mayor at the Inn at Harvard to celebrate 30 women who have worked for the city for 30 years or more. Amazing. We’ll look forward to coverage of the Mayor’s night at Fenway with all the male old timers. Still, hats off to both parties for trying to get along. Now, about the receipts for that tea party …

Help Bill O’reilly Enact Jessica’s Law in Massachusetts : )

Hello Guys Most of you probably have heard about Jessica’s Law by now, the law named after Jessica Lunsford (9 year old girl down in Florida that was raped and murdered by John Couey). I was hoping you and I could join forces with Bill O’Reilly of the “O’Reilly Factor” and help pass some meaningful legislation to help prevent child rape. Below is a link you can follow to put your name on a letter/email to Gov Patrick to ask him to pass Jessica’s Law in Massachusetts.  I strongly recommend that you do it during weeekDAY hours….as the Gov is taking his nights and weekends off. http://www.billoreil…

Rove on CNN

Now I know I am living in a nightmare.  Be sure not to miss this fine dance performance by Rove at the Radio and Television Correspondence Dinner.  John Roberts’s editorializing facial expression at the 1:34 mark really says it all.

Bush on FOX

I know many of you have a boycott on FOX NEWS so I thought I would tell you about President Bush’s speech he delivered at the Radio and Television Correspondents’ Association Dinner last night.  (CNN and Headline news didn’t cover it). It was at the Washington Hilton Hotel and Bush spoke at about 9:45-ish.  He delivered an A+ performance (in my opinion) as he made fun of Dick Cheney, Barack Hussein Obama, Jim Webb, and others. Most notable was the camera shot of Nancy Pelosi.  I’m not sure if it was the FOX camera man or coincidence but when ever they showed Nancy Pelosi all you could see was just her face “floating” over a pile of Flowers.  Seriously – the flower arrangement that they put in front of her was enormous.  I can’t find it just yet on YouTube but it’s still early.  I’ll have it here as soon as I can. But here is a link that talks about last night’s dinner http://www.foxnews.c…
