1. State Committee seats and local committees (Ward/Town/City)

   One male, one female per State Committee district.  An earlier thread listed the Senate Districts (State Comm. district =s Senate District) with elections so search the site for "Democratic State Committee" and you can easily find the thread.

   In most, but not all cities and towns, there will be City/Ward and Town Committees up for election.  Don't know of many contests between "slates" and some committees aren't running full slates so that writeins stand a chance of winning as well.

   A distinct lack of any Propositions (or Ballot Questions, as they're called here).  This was one of the biggest surprises moving here from California three and a half years ago.  2004 was very boring voted, every race was uncontested save the Presidential contest.

   There will be another primary in September.  That's when you will vote for things like State Rep, Congress, Senate, etc.  Local elections (Mayor, Aldermen, Any local ballot questions) are on odd years, so you won't for that until 2009.
