This is a shot of the crowd on the westbound side of Paradise Road, Swampscott, as taken by the other half of the crowd stationed eastbound. And this was before Uno’s Pizzeria brought boxes of hot pizza pies, plain and pepperoni, out to the crowd!
Blue Mass Readers in the 8th Essex District know that tomorrow is the big day for this special election but maybe you have friends and family who don’t. This is an electronic “Dear Friend” card the campaign made available to our supporters, suitable for cutting, pasting and emailing:
Dear friends and family
I am supporting Lori Litman Ehrlich www.loriehrlich.com for State Representative and I’m asking for your vote for Lori in the general election on Tuesday, March 4th.
Many of Lori’s qualifications and accomplishments have been highlighted in her newspaper endorsements. Marblehead Reporter:
To us, those successes show that when Ehrlich takes a cause into her heart, she is difficult to deny. As she has toured the 8th Essex District in this abbreviated campaign, she has listened to her would-be constituents’ concerns and has pledged to make them her own. If history is any judge, Ehrlich’s talent and passion will be a potent combination.
The Salem News endorsement states:
In Democrat Lori Ehrlich, voters have a chance to put in office a person with a long history of very successful citizen activism.
The Marblehead resident is a founding member of the influential environmental group, HealthLink, and also played a major role in the cleanup of the area around Wenham Lake. A certified public accountant, she has the education, experience in public policy matters and familiarity with the community to make an outstanding public servant.
As a life-long resident, Lori has strong ties to all three communities. She was born in Lynn, grew up in Swampscott (SHS’81) and now resides in Marblehead with her husband and two daughters. Lori is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant, has a deep understanding of a broad range of state-level issues, has worked with four governors on policy change, and has earned her Masters degree in Public Administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government (2005). Most importantly, she is a strong advocate for local residents. She listens to our concerns then gets results on our behalf.
Lori is an outstanding choice to strengthen our district’s voice on Beacon Hill.
Lori’s campaign is expecting the election to be very close and needs your support. Every vote counts. PLEASE VOTE!!
And please feel free to forward this email to your friends and family!
Thank you,
The Committee to Elect Lori Ehrlich (or your name)
