While I tend to reflect on political races, real time small town ideas on economic development, reductions in transportation impacts all the while railing against the perceived (and not imaginary) inside 128 bias on Beacon Hill or the still unfolding tragedy of Vietnam Iraq, part of what inspires me to post an idea that is off-putting to some, ridiculous to others, challenging to a few and defended by the rest is that forge of ideas and the product of such work is stronger for the process.
I wonder if that is a bond shared by all who chose to comment or post in the debates, civil or raucous, Red or Blue, dreamers or policy wonks that is inspired or launched by the postings here. Pipe dreams are not the work of fools but the providence of those who dream the what ifs or how abouts in the first place. It is good that this is so.
Keep them coming. The fire is stoked, the hammer is ready. And if that pipe dream ends up scrap then throw it back into the melting pot but if a sword is the product then we all know what made it mightier to coin a phrase, (though in our modern lingo it would be the key board and not the pen).
For I believe it is better to have asked a foolish question than to get to the end and look like a fool for not asking that question in the first place.
