In a diary yesterday, EaBoClipper accused the Al Franken campaign of ignoring the principle of “voter intent” when challenging ballots, in order to “win by any means necessary.” Several comments pointed out that it’s natural for both sides to be a bit overzealous in terms of challenging ballots, and the bipartisan panel will ultimately decide the fate of these ballots anyway.
While both sides are challenging ballots in a partisan way, the Coleman camp, if anyone, that is the one taking it to an egregious level. As this video shows, Coleman’s observers are challenging ballots with clear Franken votes merely because they also contain votes for McCain. I kid you not:
Now who’s resorting to “any means necessary,” Eabo?
