First of all, what do you expect from Fox? I don’t watch Fox News because I want to see people come on and verbally fellate Obama for 8 hours. Secondly, with the showdown over Prop 8, I certainly hope Ahnold is on. Thirdly, T. Boone Pickens should probably be white. Despite being a big republican PAC contributor, his actions this election season were non-partisan.

The liberal complaint is that these shows typically balance known conservatives with journalists, i.e., the liberal view does not receive vigorous advocacy but the conservative view does.

p>Conservatives view this stuff tribally. Journalists are not in the conservative tribe. Hence liberal. Hence, that arrangement (2 journalists + 2 conservatives) constitutes balance.

Senator Bryan Dorgan (D-ND) was invited onto Fox News Sunday. They added him to the line-up later than the others possibly to discuss the Lieberman controversy.

He isn't magically not a conservative after four years, his actions this election* not withstanding.

p> * Those actions aren't about oil, or wind. They're about securing an easement to get water to market. He's been buying up water rights all over Texas, etc. and needs to pipe it to the cities to make money on them. The easiest way is to get an electrical power easement and then run the pipes at the same time. P.S. Natural gas for cars on a wide scale is flat out stupid.

It’s easier to criticize a study than perform one… but do you have any sense on how much time each guest spent on-air? After all, it’s on-air time that’s important, not number of guests.

How many Democrats show up on FOX vs. how many Republicans show up on MSNBC? The FOX haters here may complain about how Democrats are treated on FOX but at least they are there. When was the last time you saw any Republican on the Countdown? Maybe there are other reasons but my take is Keith can’t handle a dissenting opinion or just can’t argue a point unless everyone is agreeing with him. He should shock the world someday and have Dick Morris on. Chris Mathews may be doing his job of helping BO in any way he can by also limiting any real debate with Republicans on his show, but to a lesser degree than Keith and Rachel who will not allow any real debate with opposing opinions. Cowards! On the other hand I can’t think of any Democrat who is not invited on FOX (other than Keith himself). Who are the “real Democrats” who don’t go on FOX?
