OK, nobody brought a gun and nobody got their finger bitten off, so the media may not cover it, but there was a very successful rally in support of health care reform in downtown Boston this morning and we’ve got video to prove it. Led by our fearless leader Charley a group of your BMG friends turned out to take part. NECN says over 1000 turned out and that sounds about right from what I saw.
It was pretty obvious that most folks in the crowd were in favor of the public option. This really became clear when US Representative Lynch was ‘lobbied’ fairly strongly when it was his turn to speak.
I have a brother who is 48, hasn’t had health insurance in years, and knows he needs to see a doctor but can’t afford to. If we don’t come out of this with a bill that lets him get decent medical care than its a failure in my book

I get a message from YouTube that it’s a “private” video … doesn’t quite sound all that wholesome, actually. đŸ˜€

It must be frightening to be without healthcare. I have been so lucky, but know that losing health care can happen to anyone, anytime.

p>There was some new coverage. On NECN so it was regional, not just local. Excellent!

p>Now let’s hear what President Obama has to say on Wednesday. I hope he holds strong to the public option.
