US Senate candidate Steve Pagliuca was kind enough to take about an hour out of his hectic campaign schedule to chat with Charley and me.  I know, I know — you’re skeptical.  Give it a listen.  Maybe he’ll surprise you.

We started (as always) by asking why the Senate, and why now.

Then I asked what Pagliuca has been doing all these years at Bain, and how it relates to the work of the Senate.

Then, later in the interview, I asked whether his experience at Bain wasn’t more executive in character than legislative.  He argued that in some respects it’s quite similar to the work of the Senate.
