A spectacular column today in the Herald by Howie Carr “Howie Carr to hater: Bring it” in which he reveals he is a deeply misunderstood man, explains that is trying to leave his employer, and builds up BlueMassGroup.com to such a position of towering dominance — perhaps we are, in his mind, frightening thought though that is — that he assumes readers immediately know the website he is talking about when he sets “Ernie Boch III” and “Charley on the MTA” straight. I guess we know now who is lurking on Facebook waiting to hit fan 600 and get a free mug.
One imagines a white haired gentleman clad in an elegant blue blazer bent in concentration over his keyboard on a backyard patio overlooking a pool behind a gracious home in leaf-strewn Wellesly. Touching.
I guess they want me out of that AM radio station. Now, that’s funny, because what do these Birkenstock-wearing vegans think I’ve been trying desperately to do for the last, oh, four years?
A work environment like that would make anyone irritable.
The comments to the article reveal a mixture of basic confusion about essential elements of reality, angst, and evident dyspepsia that echo the parent piece. Each one is precious. What do you think of Mr. Carr’s latest literary contribution? Is this his finest work to date, or are there other gems worthy of that distinction.

Anyone who did would never call him a “moonbat”. If I recall EBIII has been known to skewer any candidate with a MassAlliance endorsement as a socialist.

I know there was a “Peter Porcupine” in that day. Also, Publius, Silence Dogood, Federal Farmer, and many others.

And later, when Cobbett got into too much trouble (Alien & Sedition Act,. etc.) as Peter Porcupine, he wrote as Harry Hedgehog, wink, wink, as a sort of EB3 back in the day -since everybody KNEW the Porc and the Hedgehog were one and the same…

p>It’s your blog, but just sayin’.

p>Plus, EB3 is right. Why would you ever provide more attention to someone. Well, unless you screwed up. Sounds like it hit pretty close to come when Regan started getting involved.

Howie himself.

p>I think this is a sock-puppet exercise to get Howie off the AM dial, like he says he wants.

It’s like the episode(s?) of Seinfeld where George tries to get himself fired from the Yankees. Howie just keeps cranking out low-grade crap, hoping to get fired/bought out, so that he can spend more time on his putting green at home in Wellesley. Turns out people love it. And he tries harder and harder to churn out objectionable crap, trying to cross that line, but he just can’t escape …
<
p>Awesome. There’s gotta be a screenplay pitch in there: “It’s like Seinfeld-meets-Groundhog Day! It’s comedy gold!”

“Waiting for RKO”, if you will.

it’s “Springtime for Hitler in Germany!” all over again.

Howie despises the, vermin that infests the state house—which is well over 50% of the criminals elected to the legislature in this state. People like that nitwit that pissed on the tropers boots and then just gave himself a pay raise (Kojowski?) many here are apologists for these creeps (irrespective of party but primarily dems) The immediate defense of Marzilli R/T the attack on the woman who alleged he assaulted her in her own home—what’s that all about?
<
p>How about a little honesty now and then—the hypocrisy is getting old.
