can pivot from the guy complaining about profits rising four time faster than wages to the guy preaching the merits of trickle down economics makes me think Coakley can pivot from the ‘tough on crime’ District Attorney who favors the death penalty (in the case of first degree murder of police and incarcerated murderers) to the liberal US Senator from Massachusetts, a seat previously held by JFK and Ted Kennedy. Coakley will be a champion for children, the elderly, women’s rights and LGBT issues but she is not a liberal for all seasons (as noted before in her position on sixth amendment rights, overcharging Woodward with second degree murder and a 15 years sentence, opposing commutation of Gerald Amerault’s sentence.)
