Lynch may be a closet Stupak voter, and this could impact his vote if abortion is his real objection. If desire to be Scott Brown is his real objection, then obviously he’ll vote no no matter how well his objections are addressed.
National Review has a copy of what they believe is a draft of the Executive Order President Obama promised Stupak here: http://corner.nationalreview.c…

Stupak confirms he's a yes. At a press conference with enough of the Stupak bloc to bring it across the finish line.
really?
Everything I've seen (today) shows him as a no.
Time will tell!
Stupak is a yes.
Announced at a presser a couple of hours ago.
Health care and Lynch
Great job by a number of people to get this presumably final compromise done. It seems to me that this executive order was needed merely to allow Stupak and his compatriots to save face; substantively, it does very little since Hyde Amendment protections were already in the Senate bill. It couldn't have worked out better for Democrats -- they get the votes for health care, Stupak, et al get to say to their constituents that they stood up for principle, and the Republicans' argument that this bill means "taxpayer funded abortions" becomes less plausible.
It should be interesting to see how Lynch votes. If he votes nay, he will have the dishonor of (I believe) representing the most Democratic district of all the Democratic nay votes. So not only did he screw his constituents, but he screwed over his colleagues as well. If there's someone legitimate who runs against him in a primary, he'll be toast.

Draft Harmony Wu for Congress against Rep. Lynch - Act Now!
Harmony Wu, a well-known Democratic activist from Needham and mother of two, has pulled papers to run for the US House of Representatives against Stephen Lynch for the 9th Congressional District. The Democratic primary for this seat is in September.
Harmony has stated: "I am seriously considering a run against Stephen Lynch for his seat in the House of Representatives if the Congressman votes 'no' on the President's health care reform legislation." Harmony was an inspiring volunteer leader on the Obama campaign and since then, has organized hundreds of volunteers in support of progressive candidates and issues . Most recently, she has been a key volunteer health care reform organizer in the 9th District and throughout Massachusetts.
Out of frustration with Rep. Lynch's willingness to let this historic opportunity for health care reform be lost, she is considering a run against him both to show him that there is passionate support for health care reform, and to replace him in office if he votes "no." Please join the campaign to draft Harmony NOW, before the vote on health care reform on Sunday, to show Rep. Lynch and others the depth of support for health care reform.
