Ed. note: I changed the title because the original title, “Tim Murray supports Guy Glodis,” was highly misleading. There is no indication in the article that Murray is backing Glodis, or any other candidate for Auditor. Please be careful about things like this. -David Check out the Boston Phoenix: http://thephoenix.com/Boston/n… And does that imply the Governor’s support as well? Against his own girl Speed Bump? I think that says something about how much better Glodis is.

Answer the damn question Deval!!!!
On WTKK’s regularly scheduled event “Ask the Govoner”, Deval was asked repeatedly if the voters decide to roll back the sales tax to 3% would he sign the bill and HE WOULDN’T ANSWER! Globe He repeatedly dodged a direct answer when asked if he would implement the change if it were passed. “I think we work real hard to try to show them how calamitous a choice that would be,” he said twice. Does the Govenor believe he can simply dismiss the wishes of the MA populace? Is he ready to give MA residents a “Yankee salute”? Referendum petitions have been found by the courts to be binding. But Deval has some funny views on “sacred ground”… A Mosque in NYC, Deval wants it… “The sooner we separate the peaceful teaching of Islam from the behavior of terrorists, the better for all of us,” Patrick said on WTKK-FM 96.9. An American wanting to hold a peaceful rally on the Lincoln Memorial, Deval is against it… Gov. Deval Patrick says the Lincoln Memorial is “sacred ground” to him, so he wishes Fox News commentator Glenn Beck had not held a rally there.
Does Suzanne Bump have any legs to stand on when pointing her finger on ethics?
Why would a convicted violator point the finger at an innocent man? Ask Suzanne Bump. Arguing that someone has violated the rules after you have been admittedly convicted of taking lobbyist money only happens in the political world. Suzanne bump is arguing that she should be the woman who fixes the Auditors Office, an office that has imense power over government contracts. Really? Well the state of Massachusetts should only elect Ms. Bump if they want to see more pork projects and under the table handouts. We need to be asking what other lobbyist does she affiliate with other than William Sawyer, a known insurance lobbyist. Bump, Suzanne M., Docket No. 485 http://www.mass.gov/?pageID=et…
And Now We Do the Dance Of Joy…
Front page of today’s Cape Cod Times – High Court Green Lights Cape Wind My heartiest condemnation is reserved for the Cape Cod Commission and the Town of Barnstable for bringing this case in the first place, although a skosh less for Barnstable. You see, not long ago the Cape Cod Commission sued the Energy Facilities Siting Board claiming they had jurisdiction, if not intelligence or expertise, to decide where the gas company should run a new gas line. The gas company wanted to run it down Old Main Street in Yarmouth, and the CCC wanted it to be under the bike path. Of course, the bike path isn’t plowed or maintained in the winter making it difficult to get AT the gas pipe for emergency or maintence. But gee, the houses on Old Main are so NICE… The SJC affirmed the right of the EFSB to trump the Commission. So naturally, when Cape Wind was OK’d by the EFSB the Commission filed suit to claim jurisdiction. What’s the line about doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result? Now if the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound wants to waste money and time, that’s different. Some of [...]
Go Petro! SJC Puts Black Mark on State
The Tri-Lateral Commission of NY Times Inc., The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and some guy from Revere named Murray has been duped into running neck deep into this water-cooler-middle-management-ego-trip-power-grab by a no-talent-pampered-condescending-arrogant-nobody named Robert Mulligan. Thomas Petrolati is a long time and powerful state rep. from the western part of the state. Natick I think or another place like that way the hell out there. Wait, I remember, it’s Springfield. Whatever. But anyway, he has served his district well. He also has helped get jobs for people. And his wife has a state job. Many of these hirings, including wife, have been at the state’s probation department. Replace Petro’s name with hundreds of other names that are in office now and have come and gone over the past 25 years and tell me what distinguishes him from the others. Right. Nothing. Where/are laws being broken? Where are the ethics Violations? I’m not talking Dianne Wilkerson cash for a favor stuff. I’m talking about patronage. I can’t get the words “arbitrary” and “capricious” out of my head. If you recall, Petro has been a favorite target of mine. He’s a great target. Just look at him. But this is different. [...]
Malone to Perry: Stop Palling around with terrorists
Republicans are masters of guilt by association and it’s fun to watch when they use this tactic against their own kind. So it is amusing to watch Joe Malone call out his opponent Jeff Perry for being two degrees away from Hugo Chavez. My take on the fact that Ron Kaufman, MA GOP’s representative to the Republican National Committee (and Andy Card brother in law), being a lobbyist for Chavez is not so much about the hypocrisy of Republicans calling out Dems for so-called bad behavior (that is self-evident). No, this is yet another example of activists on both sides being conned by their leaders. Kaufman lobbying for Chavez is akin to Chuck Schumer or Chris Dodd carrying the water for Wall Street…we are the fools.
