Christine O’Donnell, one of the Tea Party’s newly minted stars has revealed that she will forgo any further national media coverage so as to” focus on Delaware.” Her last-minute cancellation of two Sunday show appearances two days ago garnered her widespread criticism, see the sources below. O’Donnell said her decision was motivated by advice that she received from Sarah Palin, but we can only assume that in addition to that advice, Ms. O’Donnell hopes to get out from under the media scrutiny that has thus far revealed a history of financial missteps, dishonesty and tales from the world of witchcraft. The real question is does she have the conviction of her beliefs or not? Does she think that she can effectively serve in the office of U.S. Senator from Delaware? A further, compelling question is why forgo free national exposure in the big leagues of the political talk show circuit if you truly feel you are up for the task of being a United States Senator? Hi All: Another debaucle from Mayor Tom Menino which is even more embarassing than the “Lite Brite Fiasco”. It appears that the mayor just had to speak out regarding the tragedy in Hyde Park , a heinous murder of a hard working pizza delivery man a few weeks ago. He said he would like to fight the suspects in a dark alley. He then said he would give them something “worse than the death penalty,” and torture them. To avoid looking foolish, sometimes it is better to remain silent than to speak up and remove all doubt. Menino couldn’t beat up a pillow, I could only imagine how badly he would lose against these people that used a knife to kill that poor man in cold blood without remorse. Fortunately, Menino doesn’t have any hand in doling out punishment in Massachusetts either. The Democratic Party, which he claims to be a member of does not condone torture under ANY circumstances. Governor Patrick, are you concerned about the safety of MA residents?
FOX’s Mike Beaudt reports Gov. Deval Patrick’s public safety administration has sat for a year on a request by federal immigration authorities to sign up for a controversial new program aimed at finding and deporting immigrants with serious criminal backgrounds, preventing local police outside of Boston from taking part in it, a FOX Undercover investigation has found. This initiative from the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Immigration is simple. When someone gets arrested for a crime they get fingerprinted. The arresting police department checks the prints on a system which will identify criminals who have previously committed serious crimes and whether they are here in the US legally. At that point the police can call ICE to get the criminals. But Deval has not signed the paper neccesary for Police Departments through the state (except Boston) to aprtace in the program.
