We’ve gotten official word that the Tea Party Express is coming into my hometown of Worcester on Monday, with an unannounced “special guest.” We all know the circus that comes with that, and we’re expecting it to be in full force on Monday.
THE TEA PARTY EXPRESS IS CROSSING THE COUNTRY AND WILL HAVE TRAVELED 5,837 MILES BY THE TIME THEY GET TO WORCESTER. LET’S WELCOME THEM BY RAISING $5837, ONE DOLLAR FOR EVERY MILE, BEFORE THE TEA PARTY GETS HERE ON MONDAY AFTERNOON. We’re already well on the way to reaching our goal, and just need you to put us over the top.
Meanwhile, my opponent continues to feebly grasp at straws, regurgitating old news stories in an attempt to distance himself from real issues. Among other claims, his people have accused my loyal supporters of being “paid thugs.” Desperate people do desperate things, and his side is clearly desperate. Who knows what mud he’ll sling in these last days.
We’re not going to let gutter politics, the corporate California-created Tea Party Express, or this shadowy Nevada-based PAC supporting my opponent come into Massachusetts and attempt to distort this election. I believe in the voters of Massachusetts, and I believe in the power of a lifetime of hard-work. I’m proud to stand up for real solutions; for our innovation economy; for small-businesses; for seniors; for middle-class families; for veterans.

Well, let me make you a solemn pledge: I pledge to continue to work for YOU. Not for an extreme Nevada-based PAC, not for the California-based Tea Party Express, and certainly not for the Big Banks and Wall Street CEOs.

You know who will be speaking for me, and my interests, long after that stupid bus pulls out of town today? Congressman Jim McGovern.
I've got no more money left to give, but I canvassed and phone-banked for Jim yesterday, I'll be doing the same this evening, and I'll be busting my ass for him tomorrow.
