Brown Town Hall Meeting? Wait, sorry, just another Fundraiser

"Always good for a few laughs, the folks over at RMG argue that sometimes a fundraiser feels like a town hall meeting." - promoted by Bob_Neer

As I write this we are at 531 days that Scott Brown has been in office and he has yet to hold an open town hall meeting for his constituents. I was happy to hear that Scott Brown was going to be in Stoughton tomorrow. I thought maybe, just maybe, Brown will for the first time be able to hear from people in the state express their opinions, concerns and heck even congratulations on a job well done in an open town hall meeting. I figured it is the least Scott could do since he, you know, he represents us.

But alas I was wrong, Scott Brown took time away from his busy schedule in DC and prioritized attending yet another fundraiser over meeting with his constituents.

  1. When I'm an elected official

There will be hors d’Ĺ“uvres and cocktails at my town hall meetings too! Probably have a lot less shouting and fist shaking that way. Get everyone in a nice relaxed mood.

  2. Money for Nothing

Do you have to pay Scott Brown $100 to answer a question or does he stiff you even the?

  3. Who said he represented us?

    He’s a Koch addict.
