WhiteHouse.gov defines a jobs plan

A really pretty good graphic from the communications department at WhiteHouse.gov.

  1. Good graphic, good presentation of the case...

but I’m still very unhappy about this Democratic administration, which is on the record as supporting Bowles-Simpson, touting its “payroll tax cut” for working families.

This Trojan Horse is creating, right now, a shortfall in Social Security revenues that did not previously exist in reality, but that so many Americans have been primed to believe did exist. Pretty soon you’ll hear about how the program’s estimated insolvency date is many years closer than the 2037 date previously cited, and how drastic “reforms” (i.e. benefit reductions) are needed to “save” it.

  2. Overall a graphic that flows well...

… though I do think they should replace all the instances of “N/A” with three or four question marks in a much squishier font. “N/A” doesn’t make sense to me in this context.
