Mass Inc.’s Pay to Edit Journalism – Herb Reed, Bill Russell, and Boston Narrative – Fredo of BMG

This city of ours is so lame. So transparent. So full of self-important frauds riding careers based on bullshit.

Next case: Mass Inc. aka Commonwealth Magazine. What a bunch of pompous self-rightous frauds.

This sect of “journalists” is running a pay to play scam under the cover of a non-profit. (note: there’s a lot of money to be made in non-profits) Unlike the Sulzbergers, the Murdochs, and the Purcells who run pay to play for profits, these guys have a different business model.

They don’t have to chase advertisers and showcase circulation numbers and demographics, and ad space, and cost per eyeball. And btw, it goes without saying there should not be any reason to publish negative stories abiut advertiser.

Mass Inc. skipped over the bullshit and went right to high powered companies and state agencies and sold them on access to the journalists, editors and publishers. They did everything but wear sandwich boards in front of the State House saying “WE Are For Sale”.

I havent learned much in my years but one thing I can guarentee. Never trust someone who tells you more than once they are honest, trustworthy, and watching out for you.  Like Mass Inc.

Anyone notice Herb Reed of the Platters died. He came from the south and had a few homes around the country but he lived in Arlington area for most of his later life.. His obituary quotes him as saying he loves living in Boston because everyone is so nice to him. Or something like that.

Too bad that doesn’t fit the narrative of Boston’s racial intolerance of which we are suppose to shut-up and accept.

Another point on Boston and our racist reputation.

We have a Bill Russell statue coming and everyone is saying it is about time we recognized him like Williams, Orr and Red.

What a joke. There were no statues except for Auerbachs in Quincy Market before the Red Sox won the series in 2004. After that they put up a Ted Williams statue in front of there own ballpark. A few years later the Bruins put one up of Orr in front of TD Garden, the stadium they own.

They way the narrative writes you’d think this dates back decades and all part of the Boston Irish catholic hate of black people. Therefore the narrative so far has people wrongfully believing the city owns those statues and finally bowed to pressure to build one for Russell.

So lame.

No two ways about it. Charley is the Fredo Corleone of the BMG trio.
