Earlier this month, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held hearings on Obamacare. Darrell Issa, the committee’s Republican chair, warned about health care reform’s supposed effects on jobs and economic growth, and he lined up some witnesses to support his claims.
But one of the witnesses was a CEO from Massachusetts: Dan Wolf, founder and CEO of Cape Air and first term State Senator for the Cape & Islands district. He talked about the reality of health care reform in a state where it has been in effect for years – years during which his business has grown and flourished, and our state has had a stronger economy with lower unemployment than most of the country.
