A truly fabulous display of surreality-based GOP argumentation from New Hampshire pork expert and travel consultant John H. Sununu. Note in particular how as Sununu is challenged by reality he resorts to political invective: an example of the danger of equivalence when one side, in this case the news channel, is reality-based and the other side, in this case the Ryan-Romney campaign and its surrogate, is surreality-based. Hat-tip, Moveon.org.

Is John Sununu the only conservative columnist available (other than Jeff Jacoby)? This guy is loud, boorish, and dishonest, and totally disconnected from reality. John Sununu was nauseating as a Governor of NH, and he’s gotten worse with age.
He did convince GHWB to appoint David Souter to the SC.
The columnist is former senator Sununu, not former governor Sununu.
Is there a difference?
As noted by Tom, it hasn’t mellowed the elder. He’s become more vinegar than wine. The younger one started out sour.
I think I knew that the columnist was the son, I even did a quick google before posting my comment, and concluded that I just can’t tell them apart.
As Bob observes, I don’t think there’s a difference.

can only be done over from scratch:
That, which was linked to this, looked perfectly OK when previewed, though in fact there was a missing right parenthesis. And then “Edit” under “My Comments” announced there was no such thing to edit.
And then, crossing his fingers, he pressed the SUBMIT button . . . .
