First, a brief digression courtesy of the Herald: a group of Brown supporters is paying homeless men in Roxbury to stand with Brown signs:
A group with the startling moniker “Obama Supporters for Brown” showed up in Dudley Square yesterday … organizers acknowledged they were paying modest “per diems” to homeless people and others to wear the T-shirts in an area where civic leaders have come out strong for Elizabeth Warren.
Now, have at it with debate commentary.

Or click this: “mathematically impossible”.
let all those women out of his binder, don’cha tink?
(Where are all the testimonials from said women?)
Romney was a lousy governor, I don’t understand why the president and campaign point to Romney’s track record of failure.
Mention that Romney slashed the hell out of the state higher ed budget when you talk about college.
Romney seemed to be happy to mention Massachusetts in a positive light for the first time since, I don’t know, early November of 2002. But his record here was not so great.
I think he just dissed us.
“I ran the state of Massachusetts, as much as any governor does.”
The month before Romney left office, Governor Romney had a 65% disapproval rating. I think it would be worth mentioning such a fact.
and Obama’s approval low enough to make it a risky thing to raise.
Romney is a bully. Teenagers watching chime in, “He’s (Romney) annoying me and it is hard to listen to him.”
POTUS is on target and starting to warm up with the story telling which is what he needs to do this evening at 15:00+ into his side of the debate. The story of how we got here, what we are doing that is working and where we will go forward from here.
I cannot listen to Mitt Romney try to reinvent himself yet again, as if nothing he said over the last year and a half actually happened. Just. Cannot. Listen.
It really doesn’t matter how you and I react to Romney? We didn’t support him a year ago. How is he playing to the public that supported other Republican candidates and to the independents.
What Romney says, “If you re-elect the President, you will get more of the same failures…”
What you and I think….”If a Republican Congress is re-elected, we will get more of the same…”
Winning the election depends upon whose message resonates? Food stamps feeds into Romney’s 47% free loadding factoid. It’s an image and a marketting campaign.
Especially with the pension line and 47% closer, he got his mojo back. Undecides are eccentric, but they like fighters and they will break back to the President after tonight
Perot endorsed Romney? Guess its the shared love of pie charts and awkwardness around minorities
she ceased her drive by shootings.
Mitt Romney the carpetbagger, when he calls Massachusetts, “my state.”
It is my state you chameleon cupcake, turd!
RIP Seamus.
Senior Senator from Massachusetts is now speaking in the Spin Room. Facts on Libya. Facts on deficit…..,”Sorry Mitt the math doesn’t work.”
“You just can’t trust this guy.”
“The President could be more aggressive, given what Mitt Romney said.”
“We know this in Massachusetts, he can’t even contest this race and he is losing by 25 points.”
“The Mitt Romney campaign began to unravel tonight.” John Forbes Kerry
Nuff, said.
This is MY state; you’re just a guest here.
I like to think anyone can claim our beautiful commonwealth as his home state, even Yankee fans with whacky political beliefs.
“…our beautiful commonwealth as HER state,” per the next revolution in Massachusetts that will elect Elizabeth Warren as our next US Senator.
You know, English being a stupid language at times has n
Sorry. I would delete it if I could.
Just not PC enough I guess.
Ah, sorry. Went right over my head. It was late and I already shut down my humor detection system. :p
According to David Bernstein, a bipartisan group of women did the research on coming up with qualified female candidates for government positions out of concern over the lack of women in state government. This was done “prior to the election, not even knowing yet whether it would be a Republican or Democratic administration,” Bernstein writes.
Romney did not ask for a list of qualified women; it was presented to him.
There are several other important points in the story, I encourage you to read the whole thing. In brief:
Other national sites must be linking to this since the server is dead (or my laptop might just suck)
But I did see it before their server buckled. Hopefully will be up again soon
I hope you’re proud of yourself… you broke the Phoenix.
That traffic alone was probably enough to crash the server.
And then he punched him in the mouth.
Figuratively, alas.
