RIP, Senator Daniel Inouye

America lost another hero today. Those of us who remember Watergate remember Mr. Inouye. Those of us with WWII-era parents remember Mr. Inouye. Although he had his detractors, Daniel Inouye was one of the good-guys.

    …is what HI law is regarding replacing a Senator. Does this mean that MA won’t have the only special election this year after all?

      Only MA has the immediate special election and IL has the “next biennial” rule. The Democratic governor will likely appoint a Democrat, my money is on Ed Case.
