Alright class, settle down, We have a lot to cover today.
Speaking of the classroom Kevin Cullen aka Sullen Cullen aka The Malden Kid aka Man Boy Cullen aka Kevin Crueller would make the world’s worst substitute teacher. Or best depending on point of view.
Yesterday Fred Wyshak had gangster/killer/ladies’ apparel businessman Kevin O’Neil on the stand explaining text book gangster money laundering with a smattering of gratuitous assertions and exaggerations required for Wyshak to achieve orgasm.
Anyway O’Neil explains the purchase of properties and the how he then writes checks to whitey etc.
O’Neil of course was the owner of record of the infamous Triple O’s and was a longtime muscleman and straw for the Hombre Blanco. So for Wyshak to cum (hey I told you I play blue) even this criminal enterprise needs a fictitious twist. Thus this half-assed narrative of Whitey extorting O’Neil rather than the usual course of business which it obviously was.
Gut all that? Well today Kevin – the kid that never fit in growing up in gritty Malden so showed up at his cousins’s house in South Boston one day and reinvented himself- writes about the evil Whitey extorting O’Neil.
Kevin Cullen: Good morning class. I am Mr. Cullen. I will be your substitute teacher today.
Wise Ass Kid: Where’s Mr. Feinberg? Is he dead?
KC: He’s having a hemorrhoid removed, he’ll be back Monday.
WAK: Oh, well on Friday’s Mr. Feinberg lets us smoke weed and drink beers during class.
KC: Well sparkem up and try not to spill the brewskies.
(Notice how Kevin used slang like “sparkem up”? Tryn’ to act cool again. – Wait a minute Ernie, this isn’t real. You are making up a story then attacking Cullen for what you had him do in your fiction. That’s terrible Ernie. Who do you think you are? kevin Cullen? Baahaahaha)

BTW everyone Bob DeLeo is making his exit plans and will be gone bf you know it. Non-profit sector is the word spreading of where he is heading. (I just made a rhyme). That’s why he put it out there that he is safe from prosecution. Potential employers would want to know that.
Brian Dempsey from Haverhill will be our next Speaker. Fine with me. We don’t see too many Brians in positions of power. And Deval likes his “firsts” so I think it would be good to have the first Brian speaker.

Anyway do you guys know that Whitey Bulger offered to plea to everything including the murders of the two girls if they would ease up on Catherine Greigs ridiculous eight year sentence and Fred Wyshak said no way Jose? Why would the Senator Joe McCarthy of the Moakley Courthouse say no to that? Especially after cutting deals and given the street to guys who have admitted to dozens of murders between them?
You tell me. (Horse to water sort of thing)

So there’s this guy named Pat Nee who’s a run of the mill wise guy seriel kille,r local gangster, IRA gun smuggler, protected by the FBI piece of garbage who can be found most days at the Mirisola’s Italian Resturaunt, 200 L St., South Boston. He hadn’t been seen for a few days but was back to his usual haunts yesterday.
Nee has been implicated in five murders during the trial. He has a reality show highlighting his criminal life on the Discovery Channel beginning its run next week.
There is no statutory of limitations on murder. So Dan Conley when can we expect indictments against Pat Nee? In fact get a complaint for murder drom Southie Court and pick him up this weekend. Indict later. He is terrorizing the neighborhood. He isand has been for years the real Whitey.
He’s not smart, just an a-hole willing to kill. Fuck, if I could do that I’d own the world. Bit his guy Nee os worse than John Gotti. He’a a nothing and he’s laughing at us.
BTW isn’t it funny that Steve Rakes winds up dead the day after he he’s not on a government witness list which for purposes of killing him makes it a safer endeavor?
Now either two things happened, Rakes OD’d on a bag of the bad heroin going around SB. THere’s been a spike in ODs over there and a bad batch is suspected.
Did he OD voluntarily and the the fellow partiers dumped him so as to not have to explain the body. (Happens a lot)
Or he was killed. Perhaps poisoned with the bad dope forcefully or unknowingly? Been done.
Whatever happened though people in southie are more afraid of the hometown wise guys than ever before because of the perception that Kevin Weeks and Pat Nee killed him. And whether true or not Weeks and Nee won’t dissuade people from believing it. It’s good for business.
So where the fuck are you Dan Conley? Unfortunately these suspects are alive and easily found. You’s rather deal with dead suspects like DeSalvo I know. And you have no balls, I know that too. But this guy is out there laughing at the entire justice system.

Speaking of mayor’s race i’m interested in seeing the next poll so to gage where the cnadidates are heading. Was John Connolly’s top spot his peak or is it more? Have Dan Conley’s boring-say-nothing-at-all-and-above-all-else-be unmemorable- ads affected his position? Will Marty Walsh pull away from the pack or stay within a close and crowded top tier? Can Rob Consolvo keep inching up with his nice guy persona? And have Menino’s people gotten the word out and commitments back for Charlotte Golar Richie?

Larry Harmon of the Globe had a story on Marty Walsh last week and his heavy involvement in recovery. Walsh has been sober for 20 years. Big deal. Who hasn’t
But here is what caught my eye. Walsh is a go to guy for drunks and addicts and families. This huge IMHO in campaign.
Harmon was off a little in his assertion that this is a politicians job and there is usually one who does this. Not sre where he was going with that. But here’s what I go know.
There a number of people, 99% recovered aloaholics and addicts who are go to people when things go wrong. Their phones ring at all hours of the night and day from people drunks and druggies saying they want help. Could be the first time they’ve called, could be the tenth. Also could be a mother, a wife, a son, crying about what happened this time and asking what can be done.
People like Walsh get in their cars, pick em up, and personally take them to a “bed” they found for them and start the routine.
This goes on every single day and with the opiate it’s sky rocketed. These go to guys and gals are unsung heroes. Before Marty in the state house the late great Kevin Fitzgerald (much maligned by Howie Carr) saved many a life.
A world renown go-to guy is Paul McDevitt. Mr. Suzanne Bump for those here. That’s why Bump’s Christmas cards make sure his picture is on it.
South Boston’s Mike Flaherty, Sr is another guy who was there when the phone rang
Okay Ernie, big deal, Walsh does what he does, What’s it worth, 50 votes?
No, I-can-stop-drinkiing-whenever-I-want-breath.
It’s about what this does for a campaign and organization. These recovery folks are ffreakin zealots when it comes to finding something to do and keepin busy. And you don’t have to call them. (a no no in AA anyway). But because Walsh has helped so many of these people and they talk and they are loyal and if they don’t keep busy they can fall off the wagon they are a force to be reckoned with.
And in a race this crowded where 23,000 votes will probably get you in the run-off this is the little nibble of information that can catch your eye on the racing form and make you some money.

How about Larry Lucchino and The Red Sox getting side swiped by a guy from Everett (you guys know I hate Everett, right?) on their bid to renew their license with the Boston Redevelopment Authority to run concessions on Lansdowne St. and Yawkey Way?
LMAO funny, This guy’s names Marchese. There are five thousand Marchese’s in Everett. In the coke fueled 80s and 90’s This guy use to own the aptly named “The Line” barroom in Everett. Also served steak tips so he is an restauranteur. The “real” reason called the Line because it is located in the abyss where Chelsea, Everett, and Revere touch. Yeah I know, scary how these three star wars bars of towns actually touch in one place.
I want so bad for this guy to get the license. (Has it been decided). Maybe a final gesture from Menino. His way of telling Lucchino, “You Know Larry, I never really liked you.”

Unless you want to receive a target letter signed by Fred Wyshak you will follow me on Twitter.
Bob Neer says
You do know — everyone does by now, right? — that the first experiments in the US with gelled fuels, which led to the invention of napalm, were done in a remote part of Everett. That is where the Harvard chemists went in the spring and summer of 1941 when they needed someplace to conduct toxic and potentially dangerous experiments without anyone knowing or much caring what they were up to. As James Baldwin wrote, “For history, as nearly no one seems to know, is not merely something to be read. And it does not refer merely, or even principally, to the past. On the contrary, the great force of history comes from the fact that we carry it within us, are unconsciously controlled by it in many ways, and history is literally present in all that we do.” Have a good weekend!
HeartlandDem says
Next claim to toxic fame might be a casino. Mmmmmm, carbon dioxide emissions by 10,000 vehicles per day. But hey, maybe the breeze will blow the smog to Chelsea.

Ernie-My prediction is that 17,000 votes will put a candidate in the Mayoral final
eb3-fka-ernie-boch-iii says
i’m not sure how to gage it. If the candidates start to spread out in the polls and although there are many others it comes down to three or four init for the top two it may take more than 17,000. But my guess of 23,000 maybe a tad too high.
How many of the mayoral candidates will turn out a vote and who will only get votes from people who would have voted anyway?
douglasbennett says
In 2009, a little more than 80,000 voters casted ballots in the Preliminary election for Mayor and Flaherty got slightly more than 17K compared to Yoon’s 15K plus. In this upcoming preliminary I believe there will be 125K-140K voters and because there are so many quality candidates, I think the vote will be split bigtime. However you may be right about the 23K votes. It’s very difficult to predict
paulsimmons says
2009 was an incumbent protection election, the “Floon” candidacies notwithstanding. Given the sheer number of candidates for an open seat; plus the (presumably) competent get-out-the-vote operations working for the top tier candidates; plus a high probability of “clumping” as the field sorts itself out, I think that turnout in September will be higher than the 80K that cast ballots four years ago.
Because turnout is largely a function of GOTV (exclusive of neighborhoods like West Roxbury where the civic culture insures high participation) one can premise that the sheer number of competing campaigns should push turnout. Quantity should have a quality in and of itself.
My back of the envelope guess is 40,000 votes for final election tablestakes.
eb3-fka-ernie-boch-iii says
this field will narrow to three or four by september with perhaps one a definite finisher. I think it is heading more in that direction.
eb3-fka-ernie-boch-iii says
curious, it’s a pretty dense place. Remote place sounds more like swampland near where the casino wants to site.
Just curious.
shillelaghlaw says
So was Steve Rakes any relation to Joseph Rakes, of The Soiling of Old Glory infamy?
eb3-fka-ernie-boch-iii says
actually rakkes was swinging the flag not charging. For what its worth. Just thought id give you something to jump on me for. “Do’t make it any more right ernie.”
shillelaghlaw says
Facts are facts. Even Attorney Landsmark will tell you that Rakes was swinging at him, not spearing. Pictures can be deceiving.
So really? They’re brothers? If that’s true, it’s funny how the media want to implicate Bill Bulger in his brother’s misdeeds, yet they didn’t care to mention the fraternal relationship on the Rakes side. If they’re going to bludgeon the public one irrelevant fact, why not this one, too?
bob-gardner says
it was relevant. Lots of evidence for that.
farnkoff says
What’s up with that?
eb3-fka-ernie-boch-iii says
all about the prosecutor as the candidate and the press he gets from crime and the DeSalvo case. Never mentioned that Pat Nee was identified as a murderer and involvement in murders previously not know.
The infamous unknown backseat shooter in the Halloran/Donahue murders.
Donahue’s family wants a Nee indictment.
Also outed as having a hand in the Deborah Davis murder plus others.
Globe never mentioned this in the story.

Stuff is all real, and pretty much right on. DeLeo’s not going anywhere tho.
dave-from-hvad says
for many years with his bill for a national background check for DDS workers. He’s been trying to get it enacted for years and has always been forthcoming — personally returned my calls — when I’ve called him about it.
Which brings me to another potential DDS issue. Ernie, have you heard which nonprofit DeLeo is going to, if indeed he is going anywhere?
eb3-fka-ernie-boch-iii says
But even wo any info I would expect Terry Murray to gone within a year also.
DeLeo and Murray should have statues in their honor for coming to work everyday for the past few years as the feds tried to destroy their lives every which way possible.
What would have happened if they did not fight it? I mean what would have happened if they did’t have the money. Three hundred thousand.
Finneran didn’t so he plead to a bullshit 50/50 not guilty (usually one in a million in federal court) and continues to get fucked each day.
How about the bullshit they got on Charlie Flaherty.
Sal was Sal. Nothing more to say except he doesn’t deserve what’s happened to him. Sal has some good in him. Unlike Kevin Weeks, Pat Nee, John Martorano who are own the streets courtesy of the same man who has Sal on his death bed and tried to bully the MA legislature and through them the people of the Commonwealth, Fed Wyshak.
Don’t get me started.
