The wait times are getting longer, and it seems that the place has changed its name to applicationerror.com, because that’s what I get more than half the time after the long wait.
When I went to write this post, I could not put any text in the body of it at first. I had to click something irrelevant – I think it was “Save Draft” – before I could write in the main section.

I’ve begun a few masterpieces but got frustrated and cancelled b/c I could not copy and paste or I had to click spellcheck after every sentence. I thought it was my iPhone or iPad. My laptop seems to work better.

BMG saw that you refer to your diaries as “masterpieces” and the internal BS detector spiked skyhigh:)

Until it’s fixed. Seriously. If I were an advertiser I’d be complaining.
David says
Would you contribute financially to BMG to help us resolve these problems? ‘Cause that’s part of the issue.
JimC says
Frankly I wouldn’t subscribe right now, the performance is unacceptable. While I was typing this reply, the text froze three times.
David says
“The site’s performance sucks!” “Upgrading the performance would cost more money!” “I won’t support a site whose performance is so lousy!”
You see the difficulty.

Install NotScripts in Chrome at

If some crazy third party is causing the site to slow down, you can block them.

Too soon to tell if this breaks anything, but the performance of many sites (including BMG) seems way better.

noscript certainly speeds up FF, and BMG is working well. Thanks!
Right now, I have to set each of my regular sites as I go along, but I’m glad to do it.

But it doesn’t help with BMG. The only scripts I allow here are BMG itself and Google. For some reason, I needed google to run.
Just tried forbidding google, but it didn’t help.

that broke my gmail and facebook. had to disable it 🙁
kbusch says
I haven’t had a problem with the former. As I avoid facebook, I can’t speak to that.

1) After installing NoScript in Firefox, I needed to click on Options (yellow bar that appears at the bottom) and allow BMG in order to comment.
2) I happened to be on my iPad a while ago and had zero problems. Using the standard Safari there.

Yesterday, it took several tries for me to successfully rate a comment. Maybe it was just thinking…

Who else but a troll can recommend twice or two-fold for an article? Banish the Doppelganger Patrick and this site will run as smooth as olive oil.

I think it was in my previous “Forum Problems” thread.
