There have been quite a few interesting developments in Central Mass elections this week:
- With Naughton quitting the AG race, he sets up a major fight for his district with Republican star Brad Wyatt.
- Former Rep. John Fresolo , who left office under a cloud last year, is challenging his successor Rep. Dan Donahue in the primary.
- Rep. John Binienda will not be seeking another term in the next district over, the 17th Worcester.
- Sen. Harriette Chandler is receiving a primary challenge from a Sean Maher, a SEIU member from what I’ve heard.
Add these to the retirements of Sen. Brewer and Republican leadership member Rep. George Peterson from Grafton, and it’s a vainly thorough overhaul of the delegation from Worcester County.
