At a parade on Friday, Dr. Berwick briefly switched from candidate back to M. D. to assist a woman who had passed out along a parade route. This article does not appear to say which town. He was flagged down by spectators and stayed with the woman until he was satisfied that she was stable and an ambulance was en route.
The article mentions a couple of other instances when politicians have rendered medical assistance. I am especially gratified by the example of the AZ candidate who assisted someone assigned to track him when the latter was injured. It’s nice to see that humanity can still sometimes trump politics in an era when the opposition is so often seen as the enemy.

I was toward the front of the Berwick contingent, and we couldn’t figure out for a while why the tail end had suddenly stopped and other groups were passing us.

When news spread of this care-giving by a real physician this lit up my head as a twenty-first century counterpoint to Greek language accounts getting read by Bereans of healing done by the Son of Man, Jesus. My workplace customers go so low as to ridicule by bumper sticker our President in a mock white doctor’s lab, clinic or operating coat, but now comes Don Berwick, M.D. who really wears the white work clothes, and gives medical care anyway even while wearing some other shirt.
I honor our convention endorsee, our Commonwealth Treasurer, but the Praxes (Acts) of the campaign AllMeansAll holds us audience. I see so many warm bodies in Dr. Berwick’s Twitter feed.

Reminds me of a time I went to a Howard Dean Q&A/forum event in New Hampshire in 2003, which started very late, because on the drive to the event Dean had seen the site of a car accident by the road, and stopped to take care of people there.
