Facebook apologizes after secret psychological experiments caused outrage among users
I feel like it is, in ways that are emerging. It’s a brave new world.
Tangentially, I see no apology in Facebook’s statement. They’re sorry about the reaction, but they have essentially no remorse about what they did.
Another question: Does Facebook’s experiment fall neatly into the tradition of consumer testing, or is it as creepy as it sounds? Have to say I lean toward the latter.
