I am a cynic who stands in awe today for my President. I am old but I still know how to cry about both horror and love. I listened to Obama’s speech in El Teatro in Havana, a place I often visit, and I remembered why I voted for him. Sure, I verbally beat him often, but today he was at his best and my country’s best. I cried in love when he spoke about American values and cried when NPR shifted to the horrific news from Belgium. I will remain highly critical when he takes the easy road, but I have been in too many countries where criticism is prohibited. And BTW, back in the dark days, I was arrested in Havana when the army mistakenly thought I was CIA. I still love the Cuban people . Here is the official text but I would not be surprised if he took liberties with it when he spoke.

And I too wept,TBD,when I listened to him speak.
And I agree with Secretary Clinton that he does not get enough credit for all he has accomplished for America.
