I still fondly remember this Colbert Report segment and will adapt it for yesterday’s House vote on the Transgender Accommodations Bill. Data from Politico.
Tip of the Hat: Republicans voting for the Bill:
The eight Republicans in support were Paul Frost, Shaun Dooley, Kimberly Ferguson, Sheila Harrington, Randy Hunt, Hannah Kane, James Kelcourse, and David Muradian.
Wag of the finger: Democrats voting against the bill
Twelve Democrats voted against the bill while eight Republicans voted for it. The Democrats were Paul Donato, Marcos Devers, James Dwyer, Colleen Garry, Christopher Markey, Joseph McGonagle, James Miceli, David Nangle, Angelo Puppolo, Dennis Rosa, Angelo Scaccia, and Alan Silvia.
And like Zap Brannigan, I never trust the neutrals:
Eight representatives were not present at the time the vote was taken: Mary Keefe, Adrian Madaro, Paul Mark, Jerald Parisella, Jeffrey Roy, Sannicandro, Kate Campanale, and Susannah Whipps Lee.

Two absent students is a coincidence, eight absent students is a conspiracy or a calamity.
