So many lessons from across the pond tonight:
1) Labour’s surge shows what happens when you inspire young people, minorities and working families to vote *FOR* your party and not just as the lesser of two evils.
2)Labour didn’t write Leave voters off but invited them to come home-something American liberals can learn from as we engage the Obama/Trump voters who will decide our future elections.
3) Corbyn has the most left wing voting record in parliament and emphasized kitchen table economic issues-he didn’t change who he stood for but he only talked about issues actual voters care about.
More in the morning. I’m enjoying pink gin, a traditional Royal Navy cocktail, as a night cap and I recommend the same to the Tories :p
