The latest iteration of TrumpScare is the Senate’s Graham – Cassidy bill which will kill the Affordable Care Act as we know it.
It will throw tens of millions off healthcare, destroy Medicaid, end elimination of the lifetime cap and pre-existing condition protection.
Massachusetts stands to lose $5 billion alone. Call our ever popular Governor Charlie Baker @ 617-725-4005 and tell him to get on the horn to his Republican buddies.
Some of the increased premium surcharges include :
metastatic cancer > $142,650
lung, brain & other cancers > $72,980
pregnancy > $17,320
asthma > $4,340
drug dependence > $20,450
The Senate has until the end of the month to force it through with 50 votes. No public hearings are scheduled, no CBO score is expected, and bi-partisan negotiations have been shut down by Republican leadership.
And last night, it flunked the ‘Jimmy Kimmel test’ when the TV host – whose son was born with heart disease – accused Sen. Cassidy (R- LA ) of ‘lying to my face’ about the bills devastating impact on ordinary families.
It’s time to call Congress @ 202-224-3121 and let your voice be heard. Vote NO on the Graham – Cassidy bill to save healthcare for ALL Americans !
Keep America Great. AGAIN !

It is estimated 32 million Americans could lose their healthcare by 2027 under Graham – Cassidy fiasco.

ACA should be mended, not ended. Like stabilizing rates in the private exchanges through which 3% of Americans buy their insurance.

Jimmy Kimmel on Trump : ” I guarantee he doesn’t know anything about the Graham – Cassidy bill. He doesn’t know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid. He barely knows the difference between Melania and Ivanka.”

A sad commentary on the Democratic Party is that the best spokesperson in the nation arguing against the assault on health care for the working class is someone from Comedy Central.

Kimmel is ABC, just for the record.

Yes, thanks….and I need to add that this is a sad commentary regarding the press coverage of health care for the working class….and my appreciation for Mr. Kimmel’s efforts.
