Narration:
“Cloud of dust by the street sweeper. There’s no wash pad over there even though the state says there are. This thing’s been going around all morning in circles just kicking up dust.”
This is a street sweeper in the vicinity of the Weymouth compressor construction site. The site’s ground is landfill, “arsenic and diesel as thick as peanut butter.” Trucks are supposed to be hosed down and the tires cleaned of mud before they take this landfill up to New Hampshire or Maine (where I guess it’s welcomed with open arms??).
Not so, as you can see.
That’s your MassDEP, taking care of business in more ways than one.
