Just to be clear, nobody thinks Brown is a "terrible father and husband," nor does anyone dislike his family. Some of us aren't angry at the guy at all. And the attention to the Brown/Warren race at a blog that generally focuses on MA politics seems sensible - it is, after all, the hottest congressional race in the country, whereas the presidential race in MA is pretty much an afterthought. All of that said, you're right that the president's last couple of big moves have been very savvy politically as well as good policy. - promoted by david

Another unfortunate failure on the part of the administration in defending the health care law. Surely this would have been a useful thing to bring to the Justices' attention. Maybe some clever law clerk will discover it before it's too late. - promoted by david
