Why I am a Democrat.
Mar 21, '10
11:33 PM
(Meanwhile, the Draft Harmony Wu Facebook site has gone insane this weekend, with announcements popping up every few hours, and 506 members within something like 36 hours. "Rep." Lynch, for reference, has 1,892 fans, and here are recent comments from his wall:
"Steve Hurley is hereby resigning my position as a "fan" of Congressman Stephen Lynch, and will be looking for a new representative starting tomorrow morning."
Denise Ellis-Hibbett As one of your constituents, I am so disappointed in your vote tonight. I am happy it passed without you and I can't wait for this bill to start helping out so many Americans who are crushed by or ignored under our current joke of a healthcare system. I believe you stood on the wrong side of history tonight, Mr. Lynch.
William J. Caldwell I am thoroughly disgusted in Rep. Lynch's vote. There is no way to justify, explain, or rationalize this diplorable act. Hundreds if not thousands of people called his offices today state say say they would like him to change his vote and if he won't listen to the people of his district he should not be re-elected.
Don Rolph At this point I believe I must withdraw from posting on this page. Based on Rep. Lynch's vote, I am afraid I find myself in a position where I must support an alternate candidate and it would seem inappropriate to post on Lynch's site if I am actively working for another candidate.
Time for Rep. Lynch, who cares more about the teabaggers and health insurance companies than his own constituents, to join the circus as a traveling elephant.
