johnd is right in this particular example. "Prez plays too much golf" is not a new criticism, and is not racist. W, Eisenhower, Ford, Truman, and others were so criticized. "To criticize the president ... because he plays a game of golf is unfair and picayunish. He has the same right to relax from the heavy burdens of office as any other man." - Truman
