(Of course, if the law had been effectively applied when Galluccio caused a major accident in 2006 (Globe: "In a third 2005 incident, a clerk-magistrate ruled that he had been drinking before causing a four-car accident in Boston, but that there was not enough evidence to warrant a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol"), the more recent tragedy might have been avoided. In the meantime, every penny paid to enforce the law in this case is well spent. The astonishing thing, and one that shows just how far gone Galluccio is, is that he hasn't yet resigned. - promoted by Bob)
