Just your routine reminder that oil & gas companies like ExxonMobil understood the climate science as early as the 1950s.

Climate denialism has never been a legitimate position.

It‘s a political strategy to consolidate wealth & power for oil barons and their political henchmen.

I am officially tired of "listen to the science" as a talking point for climate activists. I disagree w/ it as a matter of fact & question its efficacy as strategy.

After last week's UNEP report it's clear—the *only* way to stay below the 1.5-degrees threshold is to make dramatic emissions reductions by at least 7.6 percent per year.

That means we can't build any new fossil-fuel infrastructure.

Including highways.
