(PUNISH! PUNISH! STOMP AND KILL! Thanks for the chuckle, JohnD.
I'd like to point out that the so-called "flat tax" punishes people least able to pay, by leaving less income for necessities, like food, and roof over their heads, and heat. The tax may be flat, but the usefulness of that money is not.
The Governor is absolutely right -- and regardless of whether it's a political winner or a likely prospect, good on him for saying so. We've been saying it here for a while. - promoted by Charley on the MTA)
