A Fourth Write-In Candidate for Boston’s Second Suffolk Senate Seat?

August 21, 2006 By amicus

Word on the street is that a fourth Dem activist is about to toss his hat into the write-in ring for the Second Suffolk Senate District race.  Does anyone have any inside scoop on that possibility?  So it’ll be Wilkerson, Samiyah Diaz, Sonia Chang Diaz and yet another person passing out stickers on September 19.  My head hurts.

Any hints on who this activist might be? Or do we need Ernie to put it in poll form?

unless his or her last name is “Diaz.”  Otherwise it would be too confusing.

Reminds me of one of my favorite Monty Python sketches:

    <

    p>

    First Bruce: G’day Bruce!

    Fourth Bruce: Bruce.

    Second Bruce: Hello Bruce.

    Fourth Bruce: Bruce.

Third Bruce: How are you, Bruce?

    Fourth Bruce: G’day Bruce.

Fourth Bruce: Gentlemen, I’d like to introduce the man from Pommeyland who is joinin’ us this year in the philosophy department at the University of Walamaloo.

    Every Bruce: G’day!

    Michael: Hello.

Fourth Bruce: Michael Baldwin, Bruce. Michael Baldwin, Bruce. Michael Baldwin, Bruce.

First Bruce: Is your name not Bruce?

    Michael: No, it’s Michael.

Second Bruce: That’s going to cause a little confusion.

Third Bruce: Mind if we call you “Bruce” to keep it clear?

the preceding excerpt must be read with an outrageous fake Australian accent to get the full effect.
