Well, Galvin’s got a Chicken — currently in the right hand margin. How about one for AG and candidate for governor Tom Reilly?
OK, OK, he hasn’t ducked all debates, and his performance at Harvard’s JFK last night was, well, spirited. But, he ducked the environmental debate held at MIT, and now he’s ducking the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues debate held at Harvard Law School September 12. Is it a coincidence that this moderate Dem isn’t willing to debate topics that might seem too progressive to his base? I don’t think so, and for avoiding debates that expand the public discussion of important ideas, methinks Reilly doesn’t deserve a chicken award. He does deserve a drumstick and a right wing, perhaps.
