There is an interesting post on the New York Times political blog today about the potential power of the single women vote. I remember people talking about this during the last presidential campaign and the fact that single women tend not to vote. Apparently, as a group, single women also tend to be more liberal so there was push to encourage more of them to vote. I bet it is not just a national phenom, but is true locally in Massachusetts too.
