The politics of Kerry Healey is a campaign of desperation. A campaign of attacks. A campaign of fear-mongering, that if it isn’t race-baiting, is awfully damn close (yeah, I was going to take that out, but f’k it – let’s call it what it is)
Had enough? Yeah, so has Ms. Irene Stone-Smith.
From the Worcester Telegram & Gazette
Irene Stone-Smith, 84, said she received an unsolicited call Tuesday from the Healey for Governor campaign during which a man aggressively questioned her views on the violent rape involved in the LaGuer case, seeking support for Ms. Healey.
Ms. Stone-Smith told the Telegram & Gazette the phone call was very upsetting and that the man who called reiterated questions about how she could support Deval L. Patrick, repeatedly emphasizing the brutal nature of the crime involved in the case, even after she told him she objected to what he was saying to her.
Its dirty politics, Ms. Stone-Smith said.
Yeah, it damn well is. Look, doing voter ID is not some random, pick the name out of a hat affair. When we make these calls we have some idea of how these people have voted in the past and that’s how they end up on our lists.
So my question to the hive-mind is: What the hell kind of voter ID is Kerry Healey doing if her volunteers are strong-arming 84 year old women who support Deval Patrick? Are they contacting voters who are already ID’d as Patrick supporters and scaring them with the “scary black raping man” bullshit?
Anyone know? Bueller? Bueller?
I sincerely hope that people can see through this crap for what it is, just like Ms. Stone-Smith did.
She has money, but this gal has no class, Ms. Stone-Smith said of the lieutenant governor.
I am a good judge of character and I like this man, she said of Mr. Patrick, adding that she respected his work defending people as a lawyer.

Did you see the Glob article today about how the entire bar has its knickers in a twist?

Read the article with this question in your mind: what kind of a leader is Kerry Healey?

From the Worcester same T&G article:
<
p>
Asked about the campaign tactic yesterday, Ms. Healey said young volunteers working on her campaign may be to blame. She said she would tell her campaign workers not to bring up the rape case in their solicitations on the phone in the future, unless the person they call brings it up first.
Ms. Healey, however, did not apologize for upsetting the woman who received the call or take direct responsibility for the call. (emphasis mine)

No leadership. No accountability. Doesn’t understand the effects of her negative campaigning. Shifts blame to “young volunteers.”

If I had Kerry’s shabby record of trying to be a leader, I’d want to change the subject too.

what kind of person is Kerry Healey?

How can anyone lie so blatantly, so crudely, and so viciously? What sort of a person do you have to be before the behavior that Kerry Healey has engaged in becomes acceptable?

What kind of a person denies accused people the right to a fair trial?

What kind of person votes to enable a convicted pedophile to be hired to run a homeless shelter and then attacks another for being “soft on crime”?

What kind of a person watches innocent people have their names and family dragged through the mud and then demands an apology not from the scumbags who did it, but from the person who has the guts to stand up and say “that’s wrong”?
