“Even in Palestine they have Hamas and Fatah.”

That quote was made by Mitt Romney as a way to bolster the argument that MA needs a two party system.

So which group is the GOP, Hamas or Fatah? The one that is currently an active terrorist group or the one that only recently reformed?

  1. There were two subtle things that amused me.  One is that Romney compliments Healey as “well-spoken.”  Was it just coincidence he used the same term that he used for Ben LeGuer?

    The other was this quote:  “Yesterday, Romney insisted he has been a faithful ally to Healey. ‘Everything I’ve been asked to do, I’ve done. I’m as involved as I can possibly be,’ he said.”  It seems to highlight that Healey has clear limits on what she is allowed to ask him to do, like stop ridiculing her state.

    “The two-party system works,” Romney said….

    I must have missed the press conference back in ’04 when Romney endorsed John Kerry as a balance against the congressional Republicans.
