Oh goodness!! Deval Patrick met with (gasp) the Republican House & Senate Leadership!! What’s next? Is he going to speak to other duly elected officials across the state?
Where is the outrage from the right leaning blogs, the media and even some lefty bloggers who post on this very site, who have all blasted Deval for meeting with Travaglini and DiMasi?
I actually believe that Deval is doing the right thing by meeting with legislators of both parties. The men and women we elect as our reps and senators bring the best interests of our districts to the State House.
A good working relationship between the Governor and legislators and in particular legislative leaders will benefit every citizen of Massachusetts. Romney/Healey accomplished very little because of their disdain for their fellow elected officials. Deval working with the legislature will accomplish great things for us in Massachusetts.
Deval should, and I assume will meet with mayors and selectmen from across the Commonwealth. This will also bring a vital perspective to governing.
Here is to many more meetings between elected officials that will ring change and progress to Massachusetts.
Sorry, I must have missed the outrage from the lefty bloggers who post on this very site when they were blasting Deval for meeting with Travaglini and DiMasi. Could you please provide a link? Do you mean this post, where people were claiming that his meeting with Travaglini and DiMasi was a good idea and one commenter that nobody else agreed with thought it was a bad idea?
