We could really use more volunteers down here in the 1st Bristol for Claire Naughton. Turnout here looks high so far. It’s only about a 30-35 mile drive from Boston, and you could help Democratic statewide turnout and also swing a very close election! Call us at 508-339-9800.

Just got back from voting in ward 3, precinct 7 in the South End. The police officer said they’d had a line since 6:30 and turnout was much higher than usual (we seemed to have hit a lull, no line at 11:15). The counter on the machine read 1054, though it occurs to be that could be counting each page of the ballot which would put the voter count at 527. Still much higher than I’ve seen in previous elections.

The precinct across the street had a big line at what would usually be a slow time, so at least for my neighborhood turnout looks high which I think is good news.

Just got home from voting: I was #37 at 7:35 am. That’s about 1/8 of the primary day turnout for that precinct.
