This was not an area where Liebold InAccuVote machines were in use, so I was handed my regulation pre-printed sheet of heavy paper, marched on over to the regulation privacy screen and proudly wielded the attached regulation Sharpie to black in those bubbles. Smile at the volunteers running the polling station, slide my ballot into the box, and out the door: elapsed time 4 minutes.
It’s already apparent that not everyone’s voting experience is going as smoothly, which saddens me, but here’s hoping the problems get resolved by the end of the day.
