God, this is so frustrating. They’re taking another roll-call, but because the audio on this SUCK webcast keeps cutting out, I have no idea what they’re voting on.
UPDATE: Apparently, it’s a motion to recess. Not sure what that means at the moment, nor am I sure if it’s temporary or for good.

i believe it was to recess until 3:30
…the recess is probably to beat up the necessary 7 people, offer them chairmanships, whatever, to get them to change their vote if a second vote is waranted. Then after recess, they can hold another vote. Only if Rushing’s motion to reconsider passed, tho.
Bay Windows is reporting that if reconsideration passes and the session adjurns before a second vote is taken, the measure does not take effect.
It gives you the CHANCE to take a second bite of the apple. If you don’t, the initial vote stands.

I’m having trouble refreshing their site. Too much traffic?
better knowledge of technology? Not only is this frustrating, it is pathetic. This just illustrates how mediocre the legislature is.
Lord knows I can do this (it’s within my line of work, after all). But I’m not doing it for free.
