To a certain extent I can understand the viewpoint of folks like Jacoby who say they question the science, especially in light of the impact some action could have on the economy. I don’t buy it, but I see how he gets to that point.
But it seems beyond me in terms of partisanship and spite for someone to not get on board with the “greening of America” because of a particular celebrity or politician that’s involved.
People are already doing their part. Some Herald readers are surely recycling the paper. And their plummeting circulation has been reducing consumption for years.
